Who We Are
Covenant Clearinghouse serves as the trustee and servicing agent for collection and administration of private transfer fee assessments. We do not own the assessments. We manage them on behalf of beneficiaries, providing transparency and convenience.

- Making closings smoother
- Supporting homebuyers and sellers through a fair, well-documented process
- Ensuring all applicable fees are properly identified and addressed to avoid future liens
Training for closing agents
Covenant Clearinghouse provides complementary training for all closing agents upon request. We will guide the agents through:
- Identifying assessments in title commitments
- Requesting and understanding Estoppel Certificates and Payoff Certificates
- Understanding the terms of the Declarations of Covenant
- Avoiding mistakes

Closing Agent Fee Provision
Where permitted by law, a Closing Agent may typically withhold and retain the greater of $100 or 2% of the assessment fee collected as a service fee. This amount may vary and is typically specified in Paragraph 13 of the Declaration of Covenant.
